Tips for Success in Completing Fully or Partially Online Programs
- Meet with a counselor:
- View your Education Plan using DegreeWorks.
- Follow your Education Plan. Don't assume you can substitute or waive specific courses.
- Maintain continuous enrollment:
- Continuous enrollment is defined as enrollment in at least one course per academic year (fall or spring semester). Failure to maintain continuous enrollment will result in the loss of catalog rights. You can read more about Catalog Rights in the Degree and Certificate section of the college catalog.
- Understand the different class modalities:
- Asynchronous Online: No set meeting times. All coursework is done on Canvas with set deadlines.
- Synchronous Online (Live Online Meetings): Includes scheduled Zoom meetings along with coursework on Canvas.
- Hybrid: Combines in-person classes at a 911爆料网 location with online learning (Canvas or Zoom).
- In-Person: All classes meet on campus with no online components.
- Submit your graduation petition before the deadline. See the instructional calendar for the actual deadline date.

Administration of Justice AS-T
The Administration of Justice program offers undergraduate students a curriculum designed to prepare young men and women for careers in law enforcement and related fields.

Anthropology AA-T
Associate in Arts in Anthropology for Transfer. The program is designed to prepare students who wish to transfer to pursue further studies in anthropology. It is a broad introduction to the four fields of anthropology (biological/physical, archaeology, cultural, and linguistic), and the basic concepts of anthropological inquiry.

Art History AA-T
An Associate of Arts for Transfer (AA-T) in Art History offers students a comprehensive lower division program in the history of art.

Biology AS-T
The Associate of Science in Biology for Transfer (AS-T) prepares students for upper-division biology courses, including general biology, cell or molecular biology, organism biology, marine biology, botany, zoology, ecology, evolution, genetics, anatomy, physiology, microbiology, and agricultural sciences.

Business Administration 2.0 AS-T
This degree is designed to prepare students who wish to transfer to pursue a baccalaureate degree in Business Administration, particularly to the California State University system. This program provides the academic foundation required for various areas of business, such as accounting, management, finance, and marketing.

Child and Adolescent Development AA-T
This degree provides preparation for students interested in working with children and families in a range of settings and provides lower division major preparation for transfer, particularly Child and Adolescent Development majors at the California State University.

Communication Studies 2.0 AA-T
The Associate of Arts for Transfer in Communication Studies teaches students about the communication process and prepares students for the skills needed to effectively communicate with others--both within and across cultural boundaries--in a variety of public, small group, and interpersonal settings.

Computer Science AS-T
Graduates of this degree program in computer science will have the skills in computer programming required for transfer to a four-year university and will receive priority admission to any CSU.

Early Childhood Education AS-T
A student graduating with an Associate in Science in Early Childhood Education for Transfer (Early Childhood Education AS-T) may transfer to complete a Bachelor鈥檚 Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child and Adolescent Development, Family and Consumer Sciences, Human Communication, Human Services, Liberal Studies or related field.

Economics AA-T
This degree offers students a comprehensive lower division program in economics. The AA-T prepares students who wish to transfer and pursue a baccalaureate degree in Economics, particularly at California State University campuses.

English AA-T
Associate in Arts in English for Transfer. 911爆料网's English major offers a wide variety of language, literature, and writing courses to serve students with diverse goals, including transfer to UC, CSU, or other four year colleges.

Film, Television & Electronic Media AS-T
The Associate in Science in Film, Television, and Electronic Media for Transfer (AS-T) is designed to build students' performance skills in the areas of film, television, and digital media. Courses emphasize production and operations, technical and aesthetic skills, collaboration, teamwork, as well as analysis and media literacy.

Geography AA-T
This Associate in Arts in Geography for Transfer (AA-T) is specifically designed to prepare students for transfer to a CSU geography program at the upper division level.

History AA-T
History is the study of multiple aspects of human behavior including the development of world civilizations; the creation of arts, literature, philosophy, and science; the development of cultural heritages, political institutions, international diplomacy; and the significant achievements of humankind

Hospitality Management AS-T
The AS-T in Hospitality Management is designed to provide students with foundational knowledge and skills desirable for advanced study in hospitality, particularly at the California State University system. This program provides the academic foundation required for various areas of hospitality studies, such as hotel administration, restaurant operations, hospitality law, finance, and marketing.

Journalism AA-T
A degree in Journalism builds in students a strong foundation for a wide variety of educational and career pathways that can lead to careers in journalism, public relations, content marketing, and beyond.

Kinesiology AA-T
The Associate Degree for Transfer in Kinesiology offers students comprehensive lower division course work in kinesiology, basic human anatomy, physiology, principles of physical activity, physical education, team/individual sports, aquatics, combatives, coaching and professional careers in kinesiology and its sub-disciplines

Mathematics AS-T
The AS-T in Mathematics is designed to provide students with sufficient understanding of mathematical concepts, skills, and applications to succeed in upper division coursework in mathematics at a four-year college or university.

Nutrition and Dietetics AS-T
The AS-T in Nutrition and Dietetics prepares students to transfer to the California State University (CSU) System in the field of nutrition and dietetics, and other health-related majors.

Philosophy AA-T
Philosophy is the study of the most fundamental questions of life, reality, knowledge, and value. Through the study of philosophy, students are trained in the skills of conceptual analysis and argument comprehension, construction, and evaluation.

Psychology, AA-T
This degree is designed to prepare students who wish to transfer to pursue studies in psychology.

Political Science AA-T
The Associate of Arts in Political Science is designed to develop knowledge, analytical skills, and critical insight into the nature of politics and political problems.

Social Justice Studies: Asian American Studies AA-T
The Associate of Arts in Social Justice: Asian American Studies for Transfer Degree, (AA-T SJS Asian American Studies) prepares students for a seamless transfer with priority admissions and Junior class status to a CSU campus program or major in Asian American Studies

Social Justice Studies: African American Studies AA-T
The African American Studies major is an interdisciplinary program that studies the history, arts and humanities, economy, culture, music, media, and politics of Black and African Americans in the United States. Using an interdisciplinary approach, African American Studies students actively engage in examining the realities of Black and African American experience in the United States.

Social Justice Studies: Ethnic Studies, AA-T
This degree is designed to prepare students who wish to transfer to pursue studies in social justice with an emphasis in ethnicity and race.

Social Justice Studies: Gender Studies AA-T
Associate in Arts in Social Justice Studies: Gender Studies for Transfer offers students breadth of knowledge through a set of introductory courses addressing gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity, and class, and depth of knowledge through courses that focus on women's experiences from an intersectional feminist perspective.
